Our clubs create local opportunities for young people to learn, lead, compete, and be recognized for their best efforts.
Students develop confidence and communication skills by sharing their ideas in a supportive competition. Learning to give speeches builds strong oral communication skills that improve both personal confidence and professional success. Leadership growth: Confident speakers inspire teams, lead meetings effectively, and project authority. Additionally, participants have the opportunity to earn college scholarships.

Learn moreThe Junior Golf program allows young people to continue to develop their golf skills while building character and sportsmanship that emphasizes integrity and respect. Participants have the opportunity to advance to the Optimist Championships held in Miami.
Learn moreThe Optimist International Essay Contest gives young people a platform to share their ideas, perspectives, and opinions about the world around them. Through thoughtful and creative writing, students can explore topics from their own personal experiences, their community or country, or even a historical perspective. In addition to strengthening their written communication and critical-thinking skills, participants have the opportunity to earn scholarship funding for their future education.
